Just a 25 year old dude living in Lawrence, KS in my last semester at KU. When not involved with school, you’ll find me at the nearest golf course or on my computer hacking away at something. I’m working on an iPhone app – TaskPhone – to sync with TaskPaper, the only task management app that seems to work for me. I sculpt objective-c and cocoa in xCode, but vim is my true text editing love. My extensive vim configuration is available on github though I keep it in sync using dropbox.
I have been taking trips all my life, but they seem to be happening much more often lately. I always have my Leica C-LUX 3 and at times with my Canon 300D, when portability isn’t most important. There is a awfully good chance that when you see me alone, I will have my headphones in. From Chopin to U2, the Beatles to Notorious B.I.G. and Bob Dylan to the Ting Tings, I love it all.
I’m no stranger to cars, extensively modifying and working on them for several years – even building my own bumper – and seriously want another SAAB 900 (classic), this time an SPG. However if it’s nice out, you just might find me on my Specialized Allez on my way to school or downtown to a coffee shop.
This site is built using the Django full-stack web framework with the help of a magic pony. When javascript is used around here, it’s gotta be jQuery. I use parts of 960 for a nice, clean grid. A mix of Georgia and Helvetica Neue keep it interesting at font sizes larger than most sites. This is all lovingly served up by Media Temple (mt) from a 256mb Django container on my grid server (gs).
